Section 01Executive summary.

GRILZO COFO (Company-Owned, Franchisee-Operated) is the lowest-risk path to running a tech-enabled food business in India. Grilzo retains ownership of the branded cart and assets while you operate the outlet. There is no fixed monthly rent. We share 25% of gross sales — and only when sales happen. Every transaction flows through the Grilzo Seller App with QR-linked payments, so the math is transparent for both sides.

Total setup is ₹1,50,000 — split into ₹50,000 non-refundable onboarding (transport, insurance, initial branding, training) and ₹1,00,000 refundable cart-setup deposit. Cart goes live in 10 days.

Section 02Why the COFO model.

Most food businesses fail not because of the food — but because of everything around it. Site, fit-out, hiring, supply, listings, compliance, marketing. A first-time operator faces forty problems on day one. COFO solves thirty-five of them.

  • App-monitored. QR-linked sales capture means no disputes, no under-reporting, transparent weekly settlement.
  • Eight cuisines. Indian street, South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, Arabian, Continental, Biryani Bowls, Rolls & Wraps.
The COFO commitment

If you can show up with ₹1.5 Lakh, focus and a willingness to learn — we'll give you a brand, a cart, a system, and a 10-day runway to your first sale. The rest is operating well.

Section 03What you get.

The COFO package is deliberately end-to-end. Nothing important is left as an "add-on you'll need later".

Hardware & setup

  • Smart Food Cart (variant chosen by site — Street King, Mall Kiosk Pro or Express Tower)
  • Branding wrap, signage, lighting and customer-facing display
  • Smart kitchen equipment (grill, fryer, hood, refrigeration, prep station)

  • 30-day on-site stabilisation and post-launch service

Brand & software

  • 5-year non-exclusive licence to operate under the GRILZO brand
  • Access to the Franchise Dashboard, supply ordering app and admin connection
  • All marketing assets — launch campaign, festival drops, monthly creative refresh
  • Aggregator listing setup (Swiggy, Zomato, ONDC) with menu engineering

Section 04What we need from you.

We're explicit about what makes a COFO partnership work. The shortlist is short — but real.

  1. Capital readiness. ₹1,50,000 setup (₹50K onboarding + ₹1L refundable deposit) plus ~₹15,000 working capital.
  2. Eligibility. Indian citizen, 21+ years of age, with valid PAN & Aadhaar. Clean civil and criminal record, two reference contacts.
  3. Operating commitment. Willing to operate the cart yourself for at least 8 hours/day, 26 days/month.
  4. Identified neighbourhood. A preferred area of operation — we'll validate via a free footfall + competition study.
  5. Brand discipline. Open to following Grilzo SOPs, recipes, hygiene standards, and Seller App usage.

Section 05Investment & economics.

One number, transparently split. Total setup is ₹1.5 Lakh — most of it refundable. From day one, you pay nothing more until sales arrive.

Introductory revenue-share offer

Pay only 20% for the first 60–90 days while your cart stabilises. Step up to 25% only after the outlet hits sustained operations.

Indicative figures based on average operating-cost ratios for our existing carts. Actual earnings vary by cuisine, location, hours, and operator effort. Numbers exclude the one-time setup cost.

Inquiry & eligibility check

You connect with our team. We discuss your goals, preferred cuisine, target location, and budget. Eligibility check completed within 24 hours.

Day 1–2

Location feasibility study

Our team performs a footfall + competition study around your chosen area and recommends the cuisine variant most likely to succeed there.

Day 3

Agreement & setup payment

COFO Franchise Agreement signed. ₹1,50,000 paid — ₹50,000 onboarding plus ₹1,00,000 refundable cart-setup deposit. KYC and document checklist completed.

Day 4–5

License filing & cart customisation

FSSAI and local hawker licence filings initiated by Grilzo. Cart customised for your chosen cuisine — branding, equipment, menu board.

Day 6–7

Hands-on training

Multi-day training at our facility — recipes, food prep standards, hygiene, customer service, app usage, billing, and reconciliation.

Day 8–9

Cart delivery & installation

Cart delivered and installed at your finalised location. Initial raw material kit, payment QR, and Seller App activated and tested.

Day 10

Soft launch & first sale

Opening-day promotion runs. You make your first sale through the Grilzo Seller App. Field team on-call for the first two weeks.
